| Following a laidback summer-jam debut with "Take Me Away" (alongside Lulleaux & SEM), followed by the high-tempo, high-energy and highly catchy "Before You Love Me" (again with Lulleaux), Benno de Goeij returns to Be Yourself Music with this his third single as BnO, the brand new alias he released back in September 2024! Joining forces with Lulleaux once more and backed by the soothing and ethereal vocals provided by Nova Tropics, get ready for "Moment With You"! On May 13th we were greeted on X and Tiktok with a smiling Benno as he unleashed a deep and catchy bassline on us... The man was just vibing and smiling, beaming positive energy through the screen! Fastforward to May 28th, and he released a longer clip in which he presented his new single personally, mentioning production partner Lulleaux and Nova Tropics. |

| This third single takes the tempo from Before You Love Me and plunges it from a 145 BPM back down to a gentle 126, and in doing so, makes it feel much closer to Take Me Away (which was only slightly faster at 131) in terms of atmosphere and vibes. It delivers a different kind of laidback vibe though. Whereas SEM's vocal had a very strong sense of longing to it, especially when he belted out the take me awaaaaaaaaaaay parts, Nova Tropics vocals are much calmer, more serene in a way. The chorus is easy to remember and nice to sing along to. THe production is a slick mixture of Acoustic Pop blended seemlessly into Electronic Music, with a Tropical House flavor to it. It very much touches upon soundscapes Benno de Goeij & Hugo Prick (= Lulleaux) previously explored when they worked closely together back in 2017 and 2018. The original catchy and bouncy, and sounds ready to take over the Radio for the impending summer days slowly approaching us. Its simple hook adds to the infectious overall vibe of the song, urging you to bop your head as you slowly started to memorize more and more of the vocals. This is how I like my Pop-friendly Dance music! |

| I had a brief moment of confusion when Benno dropped his May 28th reveal: I was pretty sure that clip sounded slightly different from the May 13th one he revealed first: and I was right! To my surprise, 1001tracklists already had the new track listed and as I checked out the overview of early support, I saw that an "Extended Club Mix" was mentioned. You can check it out here if you like [head to 45:46 minutes]: The Club Mix has that super-catchy bassline groove from the original clip! It's what you'd expect of a Benno Club Mix of a more pop-oriented original. His signature sounds and tricks are laced across the build and main parts like quality garnish, just enough of it to make you smile and go "Yup, that's the Maestro alright"! The backing melody in the chorus part is slightly enhanced compared to the original, hinting at the more club-oriented route this mix will take. After the first chorus, there is this rhytmic synth pattern that's so typically Benno... I am reminded of his masterful layering in Moons Of Jupiter and for instance Lost Luggage (Rank 1 Remix): he sure loves his details! The breakdown follows, a breakbeat plays for a bit... Then Nova Tropics' "in this moment with you" echoes and loops when...! Aw yeah, it's that catchy bass hook!! I instantly find myself smiling as much as Benno did in the first reveal. ARGH this part is too short!! I could easily bounce another minute to it! :D Of the two versions, this one is right up my alley, but sadly, it has not been officially released yet so we'll have to wait a little bit longer for it... All in all, another great, catchy single by BnO and Lulleaux! |

| Benno has made another proper singalong track with this pal Lulleaux. Moment With You carries on where Take Me Away left off and gives us the dancing/singing-fuel to enjoy a proper summer! It has already enjoyed early support from the likes of: Lucas & Steve, Going Deeper, Chester Young, Aldor, Bingo Players, Chiptune, Frank Walker, Hard Rock Sofa, Karner H, Lulleaux, Micky Stardust, Mr. StarZ, Norberto Loco and Zouter Kill.
