This one took a little while to come out but in hindsight I am glad it did: Kraak & Smaak's funkalicious Pleasure Centre album from 2019 adds a slice of perfection to this month's Razormane Selects! I hadn't checked out any of their albums since the legendary Electric Hustle from 2011 but dear Lord in Heaven, Pleasure Centre hits the spot as much as that one did!! Beside discovering this older K&S goodness, I've also got some very tasty melodies and sick grooves brought to you by the usual suspects in Estiva, David Broaders, Eelke Kleijn, Markus Schulz and Farius. The final third of the list covers uptempo bangers, with a little surprise for myself, mr. Hardwell!! I recall music friends saying he had been making some pretty cool deeper stuff but I hadn't checked it out before. Big respect to the man, this type of deviation from one's own style I can always appreciate.
