Is it summer yet?? It's been another bunch of wet weeks in the Netherlands but fear not for I've got just the thing you need to chase the clouds in your head away! A scintillating Razormane Selects awaits you ranging from the dulcet tones by the likes of Roosevelt and ZOYA, ranging all the way to some banging stompers by HI-LO. Joris Voorn and AVIRA team up for the 900th take on The Orange Theme but this one makes the cut for me simply because it actually feels like a modern day slower version of the incredible Cygnus X original from the mid '90s (it kept that gritty layer in tact)! Snubbelrisk is a new name for me but Pookies is steadily becoming one of my favorite tracks of the year! Thernero brings the summer goodness whilst Ferry's foray into Progressive has grown on me quite a bit since I first heard it. Other than that, I dove into a few oldies because nothing says Summer as much as those tasty Trance Classics... Awesome stuff by En-Motion, Piet & Benno, and Ferry!
And what to say about my guy David Broaders, he strikes again with a delightful single in the guise of Lore alongside Armin & HI-LO's Now Love Will Begin earns my Tune Of The Month accolade! Big yourself up, David... A legend in the making?
Make sure you wring every droplet of musical goodness out of this list that you can because I've got some alternate (or Themed) Razormane Selects lining up for the rest of the summer! Watch this space. :D
With Euro 2024 just around the corner I just want to say; Força Portugal!! Onward to a second European Championship title!!
